Radio Detecting and Ranging, commonly referred to as RADAR is a device which measures not only the time it takes for a pulsed signal to be reflected back from an object, but also its relative position to you.

A radar is used for the following purposes:

  • collision avoidance
  • navigation in darkness
  • determining a ships position
  • navigating to a specific location
  • way point navigation
We sell many radars, including Furuno, Raymarine, Sitex. Radars range from 16nm to 96nm, open antennas to domes, 7 inch LCD to 15 inch CRT displays.
